Prime Minister Lord Fakafanua attended a private audience at the Royal Palace with His Majesty King Tupou VI this morning. This is the first briefing by the Prime Minister in accordance with Clause 50A (3) of the Constitution.

The Government remains guided by the Constitution and is committed to working in close consultation with the Crown to advance the wellbeing of the people and ensure the continued stability and development of the Kingdom.
