The Prime Minister’s Office provides strategic leadership and whole-of-government coordination to advance Tonga’s national priorities and ensure effective governance in accordance with the Constitution of Tonga.
The Office oversees policy direction, strengthens institutional performance, and supports the delivery of government commitments through improved coordination across ministries. Its work focuses on advancing sustainable economic development, strengthening energy security, addressing climate change impacts, protecting Tonga’s borders and maritime safety, modernising infrastructure and connectivity, and ensuring public institutions remain accountable, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the people.
