Prime Minister Lord Fakafanua roundtable meeting with the Visiting Joint United Nations

Prime Minister Lord Fakafanua, together with Honourable Cabinet Ministers, convened a roundtable meeting with the visiting Joint United Nations Mission.

The Mission is in Tonga to reaffirm the United Nations’ ongoing support through its various programmes and to discuss future areas of collaboration. Discussions focused on strengthening Tonga’s climate resilience, economic development, energy security, infrastructure, human rights, and access to quality health services.

This visit reflects the strong partnership between Tonga and the United Nations in advancing national, and regional priorities and sustainable development.
