The Prime Minister of Tonga, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, held a bilateral meeting with the non-resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Tonga, His Excellency, Mr. Rashed Alqemzi, at the Consulate office of the Kingdom of Tonga in Auckland.

The meeting focused on COP28 hosted by UAE next month and areas in line with civil aviation, cybersecurity and Investment.

The Prime Minister mentioned the threat that Tonga faced from climate change and looking forward to attend COP28 as an opportunity to cultivate and deepen the relations between the two countries.
