Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel visits Honourable Prime Minister

Nuku’alofa- His Excellency, Ran Yaakoby, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to the Kingdom of Tonga paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku this morning.
Tonga and Israel have sustained diplomatic relations since 1977. Israel has been focussing largely on health development sectors.
H.E Yaakoby,, with residence in Wellington, New Zealand, will be leaving Tonga on Thursday 22 June, 2023, after a three day visit.
