“Bilateral meeting with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Director General”

Monday 27th, May 2024, Antigua and Barbuda :-The Hon. Prime Minister had a bilateral meeting with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration, Ms. Amy Pope in the margin of the 4th International Conference of SIDS.
They discussed the IOM’s ongoing assistance, including policy migration frameworks, increased presence in the Pacific region, the opportunity to establish a Migrant Resource Centre to assist in addressing the impacts of the socio-economic development issues in the region and Tonga, and also support in climate change and climate resilience programs.
