The Secretary General of the International Seabed Authority (ISA), H.E. Mr. Michael Lodge, paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, on Monday 19 June, 2023.
The ISA is an autonomous international organization under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the 1994 Agreement relating to the Implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (1994 Agreement).
Tonga is a member of the ISA since August 2, 1995.
