The Minister of MEIDECC, Hon Fekitamoeloa ‘Utoikamanu held bilateral discussions with Mr. Yalchin Rafiyev, Lead Negotiator of COP29. The discussion centered on the upcoming COP29 to be hosted in Azerbaijan from the 11th -22nd November 2024, and the critical issue of climate change.The delegation led by the Minister, the Minister of Home Affairs & Energy of Tuvalu, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas and delegation also participated in the meeting.
