Honourable Prime Minister opens Office Retreat urging staff to review work plans and service programs

Nuku’alofa – The Honourable Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku this morning opened a two-day Retreat for the Prime Minister’s Office at the Ancient Tonga in Fangaloto, Ma’ufanga.
And he urged staff to review work plans and service programs, ensuring that the office of the Prime Minister is able to provide the best of service to the Government and the people of Tonga.
Hon Hu’akavameiliku said the two-day Retreat was opportune time for all staff to review how things have been done, discuss ways things can be done better and put in place strategies and plans that would help the PMO achieve its purpose for Tonga.
Staff from the Governor’s Offices in Ha’apai and Vava’u plus the Government Rep in ‘Eua are also attending the Retreat.
Ha’apai Governor Dr Pita Taufatofua and the Governor of Vava’u, Lord Fakatulolo are also attending the Retreat.
The Retreat will close tomorrow.
