Prime Minister holds bilateral meetings with delegations

Nuku’alofa – The Prime Minister, Honourable Hu’akavameiliku, held bilateral meetings and hosted courtesy calls from different delegations who attended the 7th South Pacific Defence Ministers’ Meeting here in Nuku’alofa.
Joining the Prime Minister was His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Tupouto’a Ulukalala.
Heads of delegations that met the Hon Prime Minister included the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Hon Richard Marles; New Zealand’s Minister of Defence Hon Peeni Henare and Hon Minister Wini Daki of Papua New Guinea.
The Defence Ministers’ meeting was held at the Faonelua Convention Centre on October 18-19, 2022, and was chaired by the Hon Hu’akavameiliku as Minister Responsible for Defence.
