The Prime Minister of Tonga, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, in his capacity as Minister responsible for His Majesty’s Armed Forces (Minister of Defence) and as host of the 2022 South Pacific Defence Ministers Meeting (SPDMM) has endorsed the SPDMM Joint Communique that was adopted in Nuku’alofa from 18-19 October 2022.

A copy of the Joint Communique is enclosed for circulation to all SPDMM Members and Observer Countries and the media.
