Nuku’alofa, 13 March, 2024:-The Prime Minister of Tonga, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, held a bilateral meeting with Mr Tang Zhiwen, Deputy-Director-General of the Department of North American and Oceania Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, today at the Cabinet Chamber.
During his one-day visit to Tonga, they discussed areas of mutual interest in strengthening China-Tonga friendly relations and exchange views on issues of common concern for both countries.
Mr Tang is in charge of bilateral relations between China and Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands Countries.
