“Bilateral meeting between Minister for MEIDECC with Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering of Finland”

Antigua and Barbuda:- In the margin of the 4th International Conference on Small Islands Developing States (SIDS), the Hon. Fekitamoeloa ‘Utoikamanau, Minister for MEIDECC had the opportunity to meet with H.E. Mr. Andreas Adlercreutz, Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering of Finland.
They discussed various UN agendas and Finland’s collaboration with Tonga. They continued to discuss national and regional development issues about climate finance, natural disaster risk reduction, energy, connectivity, youth, culture, and collaboration.
They also talked about the upcoming Pacific Island Forum Leaders meeting next August, with H.E. Adlercreutz assuring necessary support.
