Monday 27th, May 2025, Antigua and Barbuda:-The 4th International Conference on Small Island States (SIDS) is currently held in Antigua and Barbuda under the theme of ‘Charting the course toward resilient prosperity’.

The meeting gathered to assess the ability of SIDS to achieve the 2030 sustainable development goals and will propose a new decade of partnerships and solutions to devise their path to resilient prosperity.

Tonga’s delegations are led by the Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, joined by Hon. Fekita ‘Utoikamanu, Minister for Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster, Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Dr. Viliami Latu, Minister for Trade, Economic and Development, and officials from relevant government line ministries.
