“Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku receives courtesy call from Adventist World Church President”

The Prime Minister Hon. Hu’akavameiliku received a courtesy call from Pastor Ted Wilson, President of the Adventist World Church, in his office today.
Pastor Wilson’s visit reiterated the Church’s commitment to fostering understanding and building lasting relationships worldwide.
During the meeting, PM Huakavameiliku expressed Tonga’s gratitude, on behalf of its people and the Government, for the ongoing humanitarian aid and reconstruction assistance provided to its church members in the wake of natural disasters and the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcanic eruption.
He also highlighted the strong commitment and shared values, especially in the education and health sectors.
The Prime Minister commended Pastor Wilson’s visit, emphasizing the significant role that religious institutions and the government play in strengthening relationships and fostering mutual cooperation.
In response, Pastor Wilson expressed his appreciation to the Prime Minister for the opportunity to meet and discuss areas for further collaboration.
