Prime Minister Lord Fakafanua Participate in the Pacific Island Forum (PIF) held in Brisbane, Australia
The Prime Minister of Tonga, Lord Fakafanua, this week participated in the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Troika Meeting, that was held in Brisbane, Australia.
The annual Troika Meeting brings together the three Forum leaders comprising the current Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum, the Honourable Jeremiah Manele, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands; the former Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum, the Prime Minister of Tonga; and the incoming Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum, His Excellency Surangel S. Whipps Jr., President of the Republic of Palau.
Discussions were focused on key regional priorities amid a shifting regional and global landscape.
