On the margins of the Pacific Islands Forum Troika Meeting, the Prime Minister, Lord Fakafanua in his capacity as Minister of Police, visited the Pinkenba Hub, where he was guided on a tour by Ms Phillippa Connell, Acting Assistant Commissioner, Pacific Command, Australian Federal Police (AFP). He was also very pleased to meet officers from Tonga Police completing their 6-month training under the Pacific Policing Initiative that Forum Leaders approved in Tonga in 2024.
