Prime Minister receives courtesy visit from IUCN Director General

Nuku’alofa- The Hon Prime Minister, Hu’akavameiliku received a courtesy visit from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Dr. Bruno Oberle, on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Dr Orbelle and Hon Hu’akavameiliku discussed issues of key strategic importance from climate change to deep sea mining, illegal unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
Tonga is a valued IUCN STate Member and key partner in building a better future with IUCN.
