Prime Minister receives new Police Commissioner

The Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku this morning welcomed the new Police Commissioner, Commander Shane MacLennan, at the Prime Minister’s Office here in Nuku’alofa.
Commander MacLennan, from Australia, paid a courtesy call on the Hon Hu’akavameiliku, who is also the Minister of Police.
Having arrived in the country last week, the new Tonga Police Force Commissioner starts his new role today.
He is contracted as Police Commissioner for three years.
