“Special Public Holiday to Commemorate the 100th Centennial Anniversary of Queen Salote College.”

Nuku‘alofa, Tonga – At its meeting of 2 March 2026, Cabinet approved the designation of Thursday, 12 March 2026, as a one-off Government Public Holiday for the Kingdom of Tonga in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of Queen Salote College.

This declaration acknowledges the national significance of this historic milestone for the Kingdom of Tonga.
