On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, H.E. Mr. Liu Weimin, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tonga, signed a handover certificate with Mr. Paula Pouvalu Ma’u, the Chief Secretary and Secretary to Cabinet, during a ceremony held at the St. George Government Building.
The handover included in-kind donations of laptops, printers, fans, and digital cameras from the People’s Republic of China to Tonga.
This initiative aims to strengthen the friendship between the Chinese and Tongan peoples and facilitate digital transformation in the country.
