Fire Commissioner gets contract extension, signs with Honourable Prime Minister

Nuku’alofa – Fire Commissioner Viliami Tu‘ihalamaka today signed an extension to his work contract in a small ceremony held at the Tonga Fire and Emergency Services head office in Longlongo.
The Honourable Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku, who is also Minister of Fire and Emergency Services, signed the contract with Commissioner Tu’ihalamaka in front of the department’s management and staff.
Hon Hu’akavameiliku congratulated and thanked Commissioner Tu’ihalamaka for his leadership role and wished him well.
He also thanked the department for their service to Tonga.
Commissioner Tu’ihalamaka thanked Hon Hu’akavameiliku and the Government for having faith in him in leading the important work that the department does for Tonga.
