Nuku’alofa- Mr. Viliami Takau Jnr has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of Tourism, effective today, Thursday 13 April, 2023.

He signed his contract this morning. It will be for four years.

He took his oath before the Hon. Fekitamoeloa ‘Utoikamanu, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism.

That was witnessed by members of his family and the Commission for Public Service this morning.
