“US Ambassador to Tonga Pays Courtesy Call On Prime Minister”
Nuku’alofa – The Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr. ‘Aisake Valu Eke, today received Her Excellency Marie C. Damour, the current U.S. Ambassador to Tonga at the Prime Minister’s Office in Nuku’alofa.
HE Damour was accompanied by senior Embassy staff in Nuku’alofa and Suva, Fiji on the courtesy call.
The Hon. Dr. Eke extended the Government’s gratitude again for the US’s continued support for Tonga over the years and discussed areas of mutual interest in strengthening US-Tonga friendly relations and exchanging views on issues of common concern for both countries.
